Installing EventEngine in HubSpot

Follow the steps below to install and connect EventEngine.


 

Step 1: Start the Installation

  1. Visit the EventEngine registration page.

  2. You’ll be taken to a HubSpot screen where you can choose the portal you want to connect.

  3. Click Connect App to continue.


Step 2: Create or Log Into Your EventEngine Account

  • If you already have an EventEngine account, log in using your existing details.

  • If this is your first time, you’ll be asked to:

    • Enter your email

    • Create a password


Step 3: Set Up Your Free Trial

  1. You’ll be redirected to Stripe to start your free trial.

  2. Enter your company billing details.

  3. Once complete, you’ll be returned to EventEngine to finish registration.


Step 4: Complete Your Registration

  1. Enter your company name.

  2. Create any categories and divisions you’d like to use. These help later when organising or filtering events by department, team, or topic.


Step 5: Automatic App Setup

EventEngine will automatically install the following in your HubSpot portal:

  • CMS modules for your event pages

  • A reusable registration form

  • A prebuilt workflow

  • Eight email templates for registration, reminders, and follow-ups

  • A custom object for storing registration data

You’ll also set your email sender name — don’t worry, you can change this later in the EventEngine settings.


Step 6: Finalise Setup

Click Next to complete the installation process.

You’ll be taken to a step-by-step onboarding guide, which walks you through configuring your first event and using EventEngine in HubSpot.
